  • Review of "Callington Mill" at Oatlands

    I , my wife, mother in law and two children (5 and 3 years old boys) have visited the Callington mill today. It is such a beautiful and educational place for children and myself as I only have subtle knowledge on windmill. It has a great garden and playground as well as a beautiful and magnificient lake. It is free to have a look around mill. I strongly recommend guided tour to the mill as you will get to go up all the way to the top of the mill and a very patient and kind tour guide will tell you its history and explanation on how it operates. My whole family absolutely loved time there. We also bought a big oats made flour as it taste totally different from the flour we buy in Melbourne. The flour taste sweet without a drop of sugar. We would love to go there again soon. Thanks a lot for accomodating us especially with my extremely curious boy. He said he forgot how the mill operates within 10 mins after all the tour. Lol. We are looking forward to visiting the callington mill soon.
